#AskMe about navigating mental illness as a minority.

I have lived with schizoid anxiety and depression since I was 16 years old. As an Indian-American woman, my culture made it very tough for me to come to terms with having a mental illness, but now that I have, I work as a minority mental health advocate. I would love to see a future where everyone is able to get help for their mental illnesses, regardless of their cultural background.
