How To Walk A Mile In Someone Else's Shoes | Pooja Mehta | TEDxDuke

How can we better understand each other? How can we reach out to each other? On college campuses what does it mean to be understanding and kind in the face of a population largely struggling with mental health?

My goal is to reduce and remove the misconceptions and stigma that surrounds mental illnesses, and pioneer a societal change that prioritizes physical and mental well-being and facilitates a healthier environment for all. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at http://ted.com/tedx
